Gameplay & Scoring

To begin, the designated reader says a question out loud. Each player then writes down their answer.

The objective is to think like the group—choose an answer that will match what most others say rather than something unique.

Once everyone has finished, players take turns sharing their responses.

• If your answer matches the majority, you earn a token.

• If it doesn’t, you receive nothing.

• If there’s a tie for the most common answer, no tokens are awarded.

• If one player is the only one with a different answer, they take the pink cow.

• Holding the pink cow means you cannot win, although you may still collect tokens. If someone else becomes the odd one out later, the pink cow is passed to them.

 

Game End

The winner is the first player to collect 6 tokens while not holding the pink cow.

If multiple players reach 6 tokens at the same time, play continues until someone reaches 7 tokens first, and so on.

That’s Herd Mentality—a game where success comes from thinking like everyone else.
